1. Weather and Transportation Notice

We are delighted to welcome you to the Diocese of Jeju for World Youth Day. During this period, Korea may be significantly affected by seasonal weather conditions. Due to typhoons and the monsoon season, there is a possibility of delays or cancellations in flights and ferry services. Please kindly understand that such transportation disruptions caused by weather conditions are considered force majeure.

We would like to inform those planning to travel to Jeju to make the best possible arrangements in advance. While the Diocese of Jeju will do its utmost to seek appropriate solutions, we are sharing this information beforehand as an important point to consider during your preparations.

2. Travel to Jeju Island

As Jeju is an island, there are often no direct international flights from overseas. Therefore, in many cases, additional domestic flights or ferry transfers are required to reach the island. We kindly ask you to take these arrangements and the associated costs into account when planning your budget.

The Diocese of Jeju will also continue to seek ways to provide support and cooperation to assist your journey.
